Brigadier General (Ret) Edward L. Dyer

Brigadier General Edward Dyer brings a distinguished career in military service to the pages of The General’s Princess. During his 29-years of active duty in the U.S. Army, this combat veteran commanded tank and infantry units at every level from platoon to Division. He also served three tours of duty in the Middle East as well as serving in Washington, DC, holding critical staff positions on the Army Staff and the Joint Staff. 

After retirement from the military, General Dyer served fifteen years in the defense industry. Since relocating to Naples, Florida in 2015, BG Dyer has dedicated his time to veterans and their families as a Senior Adviser to Home Base, an organization dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war.
